Happy Thanksgiving
November 28th, 2009Each year the holidays come around too fast. This year is no different. I am thankful for my family, their good health, my friends, and my customers. We hosted the Thanksgiving feast as we do every year since my mom passed away. My dad, sister, daughter, nieces and grandchildren were in attendance. We all had a great time. My 3 year old grandson is a ‘want to be’ Yankee pitcher. He loves the Yankees. He was out back showing us his pitching form and knocked a ball over the 30 foot fence in the back yard! It was amazing. His mom was pitching and he was hitting the ball and calling the hits - strike, foul ball, walk, home run. His pitching isn’t too bad either. My granddaughter is shy and smart. We ate too much and enjoyed each others company.
Now, it’s back to routine. It’s cold enough to put sweaters on the yorkies - yes - I’m one of THOSE people who dresses their dogs with one exception. I only put sweaters on when its too cold for them to be outside with me. I’m hoping to get some actual quilting done this weekend. I have so many UFO’s and projects I haven’t started. Where does the time go? Well, I’m off to do more website updates.
Enjoy your weekend.
